About us

Vision

Committing the resources of the Local Church within an environment of flexibility and change; to ensure quality products of the “Ephesians 4“vision. Namely,

  • That the Saints are perfected (matured) for the work of the Ministry.
  • That every opportunity is identified and seized to allow every joint to supply to maximum potential.

MISSION

Our Mission is to Impose the Kingdom of God in the City of San Fernando anywhere and everywhere through Deeds of Kindness

EPHESIANS 4

4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

THE TEACHING OF GOD’S WORD

We believe the Bible to be the very word of God. Complete in its totality, effective, and relevant for today. At FCC we practice expository preaching and teaching. That is chapter by chapter, verse by verse.

Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

OUR WORSHIP

We believe worship is our response to the person and work of Jesus Christ. We seek to do this both in song and deed. We believe that the words we sing will greatly shape and affect the way we think of God and live out the Gospel.

Psalm 95:6 “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!”

Romans 12:1 “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.”

BUILDING GOSPEL CENTERED COMMUNITY

At Faith Community Church, we desire to do life together and see people grow in the knowledge and grace of the Lord. Then take that good news to a dying world. While we value our time during our Sunday gatherings, we equally value our smaller mid-week gatherings. Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

THE SUPPORT OF LOCAL AND GLOBAL MISSIONS

At Faith Community Church we seek to support local and global missions. To see the Gospel shared both near and far. We seek to accomplish this through making disciples, affirming Gods call on His people, and sending them either to their local communities or to the corners of the earth.

Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
